I have been a long time customer, always getting insurance from them, until now that unfortunately a package was damaged. First time I go through a claim with them, and its been the worst nightmare.

They bring up, and come up with the most ridiculous excuses to deny your claim. No matter how much proof you submit, they will find the most ridiculous excuse and deny your case. I recommend spending a little more and use the carriers insurance. Also read the terms before getting their service.

You will find out that almost every way possible they will try to not cover you. Most people don't read this and assume they will be there when you need them, but their terms are a joke.

READ READ their terms if you still want to give them a try... but I recommend to STAY AWAY from them.

Shipsurance Cons: Getting ripped off, Customer service.

All of us who ship on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy or through Shipstation need to blog and warn other sellers about Shipsurance's bad faith insurance tactics. Shipsurance's policies are contrary to all the new customer friendly return automatic shipping label return procedures that Amazon & Ebay have integrated into their platform. if your customer returns the product, YOUR CLAIM IS AUTOMATICALLY DENIED BY SHIPSURANCE.
